CT456A Inspection Light

The CT456A Inspection Light by Champion Aerospace is a high powered inspection tool.  Handy and convenient for rapid inspections of spark plugs and ignitors. 

Equipped with precision glass ground 3X and a 10X magnification lens the tool allows the operator to:

• Close Examination of fuel deposits over the entire length of the insulator nose
• Reveals incomplete or uneven abrasive cleaning
• Magnifies to diagnose cracked or chipped insulators
• Check condition of electrode sparking surfaces
• Dramatized need for replacing worn-out spark plugs

The focal lengths have been specifically tested to operate in this tool.  The 3X magnification lens comes equipped as a fixed lens within the tool.  The removable lens has had it's focal lengths calculated to achieve 10x magnification when used in conjunction with the 3X fixed lens.  

Materials:

• Tool Head - PA66 / Polyamide 66 / Nylon 66: known for its high strength, rigidity, and resistances to heat and chemicals.  Low water absorption and it is also a good electrical insulator, making it suitable for use in electrical components.  Good resistance to wear and tear.
• Flashlight:  It is adapted to a LUXPRO V2 (earlier models) and V3 for later models.  Highquality flashlight whose body is made from aircraft grade aluminum
• Lens:  Precision ground glass
• Diffuser:  Internal light diffuser made from polycarbonate

**As a rule of thumb, your field of view decreases as you increase magnification.  Effectively making the calculated focal length imperative for magnification.  The 10X's focal length has been calculated to achieve the best results holding the spark plug directly at the plug input location**
