Description
The AT_ALUM_JIC_KIT is a professional-grade assortment of threaded aluminum protective caps and plugs designed for 37° JIC / AN aircraft flare fittings. This kit allows aviation technicians to quickly protect both male and female hydraulic, fuel, and pneumatic fittings during maintenance, overhaul, shipping, or storage.
The kit includes NAS835 protective caps and NAS818 protective plugs, covering the most commonly used aircraft fitting thread sizes. Each component is anodized yellow for maximum FOD visibility, allowing maintenance personnel to easily identify installed protective hardware and prevent foreign object debris from entering critical aircraft systems.
For compatibility with certain legacy components, the NAS835-2 caps are supplied in natural aluminum finish, while all remaining components are finished in high-visibility anodized yellow.
