This spark plug gap setting tool is designed for closing gaps on spark plugs equipped with multiple ground electrodes such as Champion aircraft types M41E, REM40E, REB37E, and Champion Industrial plugs such as W80N, W85N, D14N, etc. The tool can be clamped on a bench, held in a vise, or used as a hand tool.
This package includes an 18mm spark plug adapter (Part No. GT-204), a GT-208 adapter specifically for regapping REM37BY plugs, and a CT-450 gap gauge.

Maintenance:
Like all shop tools, the Champion Model 2500 Gap Setting Tool requires a minimum of shop maintenance. It should be kept clean and lubricated periodically for most efficient operation. Adjusting level should be lubricated with a light machine oil. The upper collet bushing and frame collet bearing surface should be cleaned and libricated with a light grease of Champion's thread lubricant (Part number 2612) as necessary. Most important, the collet should float freely in the frame at all times.**
