‘T’ Mount spanner wrenches are specifically designed for use on "drill rod hole' core type isolation mounts. ‘T’ Series and other similar avionics mounts without wrench flats that require ‘drill rod’ insertion to prevent rotation of the core during installation or removal torque. They also work well on those mounts with both wrench flats and drill rod holes. These T Mount spanner wrenches eliminate the problem of finding properly sized drill rod stock to use as an anti-rotation tool when installing or removing avionics mounts that have a pre-drilled hole in the core for this purpose.
Product Benefits:
- Perform the anti-spin core holding function with a tool specific to the give size mount
- Allow repeatable and precise torquing of the fastener to the LRU tray and mount assembly
- Standardization and duplication of proven torque values to the SAME EXACT SPECIFICATION in every depot and field location
- Will Virtually eliminate damage to the core drill rod hole, adjacent threads, and anti-corrosion plating
- Technician only needs to rotate spanner 180 Degrees for fastener removal

Ensure the correct tool is used for the job!!
The 'T' Mount spanner wrenches allows technicians the proper tool to achieve the intended torque specification. This ensures the correct tool is used for the job that will not damage threads or mar the external diameter that could compromise the integrity and geometries of the mount or mounting hardware.
